Navajo Trails Mission Trip Fundraiser Luncheon

Sunday April 21st

The next fundraiser for our group serving in Arizona this summer will be held Sunday, April 21st.   Please join us for rigatoni, salad, and dessert immediately after second service. Carryout will be available after both services for your convenience. Come show your support for this great cause!

A blood drive will be held in the youth room in conjunction with Aultman Hospital on Sunday, May 5th from 10:00-2:00. Please keep this date in mind if you are planning on donating blood in the near future. Lunch will be served to all donors.  Donors must be between the ages of 17-74.   See Nathan for details.

 

Did you know that Faith Christian Church now offers online giving through our new website? You can give a one-time gift, or schedule regular giving. The online giving option is safe and secure through our website and all giving will be posted to your giving yearly statement. Each individual will have a unique personal login and password. And you will have complete control over the amount and the scheduling of your gift.

To access this giving option visit our website: www.faithchristians.org. Click on the “Online Giving” button and follow the simple directions. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Brian Flood.

Inclement Weather

When a substantial amount of snow falls on Saturday, Saturday night or early Sunday morning, it

may become necessary to change our Sunday morning schedule.
In this case, the 9am worship service may be cancelled but we would have the 10:30am service. In the event of severe weather, it may become necessary to cancel both services.
If one or both services are cancelled, we will contact the local radio stations (WJER, WTUZ), put the

information on the church website and the church answering service.
Adult Events

 

Adult Sunday School Class – 9am

We will meet downstairs in the Adult Sunday school room.

 

Adult Small Groups Sunday Evenings at 6pm

Join our Small Groups as we discuss The Story.  Childcare will be provided.  

Ladies Bible Study Tuesdays at 9:30am

All ladies are invited to join our Tuesday morning Ladies Bible Study.  Childcare will be available.  Please contact Jessie Edwards at 330-340-7081 for questions.  

Friends of Faith
Thursday, April 18th at 7pm
Ladies are invited to join us at the Daily Grind at 7pm on Thursday, February 21st for an informal get together.

CLUB 50

Thursday, April 25th 6:00

Club 50 will meet for pizza, salad, and dessert on Thursday, April 25th. Pizza and salad will be provided. Please bring a dessert to share. Place to be determined. See Brian for additional details.

Bring your own wings and join us as we watch the big game together in the Student Center.  More details coming soon!
 
If you haven’t made your second summer trip payment, $100 was due March 24th

FSM Small Groups on Wednesdays
Middle school boys will meet at church.
Middle school girls will meet at Nathan & Kelly’s.
High school boys and girls will meet at church.

 

 
Kids’ Events

 The  Club

The Club is a place for kids to explore God with their peers in a small group setting.  We will focus on the skills necessary to strengthen their personal relationship with God.

 

 

Club 45- for 4th and 5th graders will meet at the church and travel to different locations for Bible Study.  A shuttle will leave the church at 6:05 to take the children to their destination.  The shuttle will return to the church at 7:30.

Club 23 – for 2nd & 3rd graders will meet at Adam’s house on Wenesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm.

 

Wednesday, April 24th and Sunday, April 28th will be the end of the year parties for our Club 23 and Club 45.  You won’t want to miss the fun activities we have planned!

Dear FCC friends,

Thank you so much for the beautiful Pandora bracelet you gave me for my years of service as the church secretary.  It has been an honor and a blessing to serve God with you these past 14 years.  Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve in this position.

 

I would also like to thank Brian, Larry, Adam and Nathan for putting up with my “crazy” hours these past couple of years.  I would not have been able to accomplish all that I did without their support and understanding.  It was a great privilege working for them and serving with them.

 

I look forward to what God has in store for me and new opportunities to serve Him.
