Faith Christian Church is a nondenominational fellowship of believers who have no creed but Christ, no book but the Bible, and wear no name but Christian.

 

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.  We do not attempt to add or subtract anything from what God reveals to us and requires of us in His Word.

 

We believe that Christ is the Head of His Church, and every Christian a part of His body.  We do not believe that we are the only Christians, but earnestly strive to be Christians only.  We seek to speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent where the Bible is silent.  We take the Bible as our only rule of faith and practice.

 

We believe that the New Testament church set the example of weekly communion as stated in Acts 20:7 which says:  "On the first day of the week, we came together to break bread...".  In keeping with the practices of the original church, we invite all believers to assemble at the Lord's table each week.

 

Membership requires that one believe in Jesus Christ as God's Son and be obedient in baptism by immersion.  We follow the pattern established by the original church and read about in the Bible.  We refuse to impose upon people more than the Word of God asks to be a Christian nor require less than the Word states.
